Eerie Errands (2024)
Despite not choosing an animation as my graduation project, I wanted to corporate animation into it one way or the other. With Eerie Errands being a concept for a story, I decided to create a short animated trailer for it.
Meningsverschillen (2022)
Made in collaboration with Daphne Schenderling, Meningsverschillen is an animation about the protests against the nuclear power plant in Dodewaard in 1980. During this project, I worked on storyboarding, lineart, colouring, editing and audio. For certain backgrounds in the animation, I went out and took pictures of rural landscapes, after which we risoprinted them in black and white and turned them into choppy, moving backgrounds.
Dance Dance Dance (2022)
This animation was based on a book I had to read for school, Dance Dance Dance by Haruki Murakami. In this animation, I wanted to showcase the absurd and surrealist themes Murakami writes about.
Sara’s Story (2021)
For this assignment we were tasked to interview someone we did not know. As a result, I interviewed my mother’s colleague, Sara. In this animatic, we experience a day in Sara’s life through the eyes of a cat.
A Night in the Woods (2021)
In my first year at AKV St. Joost, we were tasked with the assignment to create our first animatic. We were all given an object that we would have to build a story around, mine being a camera.
