Falmarin
(VR-Experience)

For my second semester in my 3rd year at AKV. St. Joost, I, along with 4 other students, decided to take on the challenge of creating a playable VR-Experience, Falmarin. For this project, I was in charge of creating models, texturing, rigging, animating, audio and creating particle systems in Unity.
During the project, I was also tasked with creating particle systems in Unity. The fog particles are used on and outside of the game’s main setting, the boat, where they help create a sense of mystery and eerieness. The woodchip particles trigger after picking up a crowbar and interacting with the door. Lastly, the dust particles are used in all indoor areas in the game.

Apart from the particle systems, I was also tasked with creating and animating two rigs: one for the giant octopus that would appear at the end of the experience, and one for the players' hands throughout it.
